Weekend fun
Lucas '09, couple of months before his 13th Birthday.
What fun with 5 boys who blatantly refused to sleep. Electronical games and gadgets were the highlight of the evening, night and morning. None of them cared for my carefully planned grilled meat platter, cheese nor cut vegies and fruit.
Breakfast was a tedious affair for the lot. Seemed more like a chore to eat especially after having had no time to waste on sleep; hands and fingers stiff due to remaining in a particular position too long; dazed looks and red-eyes. Next year, I'll simply move to a hotel and leave them to their vices.
All in all, the Prodigal Son was happy. (February, 2010)
